Lego Advent Calendar: Day 6

While shopping last night, I had this conversation with my girlfriend.

Me: It’d be cool if they made a thing on the front of a shopping cart that dispenses bubble liquid when you press the trigger. And then when you run, the liquid spreads over the front grill of the cart and makes bubbles.
Girlfriend: But then everything would get sticky and gross.
Me: Well…I don’t know what to tell you.

I drew my design because I’m not sure my explanation was clear.

Calling the patent office on Monday.

Today’s Lego item is…

A Spaceship! It looks like an M, sort of. So it’s probably called an M-Wing. Might be a W-wing, but then it looks like I stutter.

I don’t know what ship this is, which means it must be from the prequels. I know most of the ships from the original trilogy. I even know that Dengar’s ship was called the Punishing One and that Boba Fett was the best man at Dengar’s wedding. I’m not making that up. Star Wars is weird. But the prequel stuff? I haven’t a clue what any of it means. Is this even a ship? Might be some sort of Jedi telephone or shoe for a cosmic horse.

Pros: It matches the blue coloring of the first ship. And I like blue things. Yay!

Cons: It looks like garbage that a four-year-old pieces together and you only know it’s a spaceship because the kid makes spaceship noises while playing with it. And then he tells you it’s not a spaceship, it’s a dog. And you just give the kid’s parents a worried look that they do not return.

But it’s better than a Lego purse. And it flies. So I’m cool with it.

Day 6 Rating: 2.1 out of 5 (Points added because it makes a cool, strange hat.)

Avengers Calendar Day 6

It’s…another Thor’s hammer? I guess they’re playing to the masses and only including chocolate slivers that represent the core Avenger roster. Fair enough. But I’m dying to open up one of these doors one day to find an Ant Man or Doctor Strange or The Vision piece of candy.

Dan makes and sells magic pencils that can be used to control the entire galaxy and the Realms Beyond. Order the complete set here! They make wonderful presents and contain no glitter or gluten.
