2018 Lego Advent Calendar: Day Two

It’s hard to top yesterday’s gift of a rocketship/jetpack. What is living, breathing and waiting behind today’s Lego door?

A little boy with two nickels!

Let’s go ahead and name him Quincy.

He has nickels. A nickel is five cents, and five of something in Latin is “Quint”…right? Four is quad, and five is quint? Maybe? I’m not about to waste a Sunday morning looking that up, but just call him Quincy.

Quincy Nickleby.

Now that I’m thinking about it, isn’t five in Latin, Penta? Like the evil shape of a Pentagram? Or the five demons of Pentatonix? But there’s no Penta-name I can think of for this kid. Penta-thew? Penta-Claus?

Screw it. His name is Quincy. Stop making this so difficult!

Robot Snowman realized he can’t actually wear yesterday’s jetpack due to the lack of Lego pegs on his back. Unless I tape or weld the jetpack to him, it’s kinda pointless for Robot Snowman to keep this around. So he sold it to Quincy for ten cents.

Quincy can’t wear the jetpack either but that’s a problem for Quincy to figure out on his own. Don’t feel bad for him. He just bought a jetpack for the price of 1/10th of a Snickers bar.

Robot Snowman was happy to have coins so he can fulfill his dream of diving into money like Scrooge McDuck. (The effect was minimal but Robot Snowman seemed pleased. Let him have his fun.)

Day 2 Rating: 4.1 out of 5 (Points added because I don’t think I’ve ever had Lego money before.)

See you tomorrow!

This blog is brought to you by PowerPencils.com. But don’t bother shopping there. You’ll just get these precious magical writing wands covered in germs and chocolate. Go ahead and shop someplace else. Maybe get your significant other a jar instead. People love jars. Or a ham. These pencils are not for you.
