By this time next week, the Lego Calendar will be empty. That’s sad. I am genuinely sad about it.
I’m surprised at how fantastic this year’s calendar has been. From Mickey “Two Mugs” to the Omega Trophy, nearly everything has been great. If I got a Mrs. Claus at this point, I might just burst into pure Christmas energy.
But before I send a flowery letter of thanks to the Lego Headquarters, let’s see what the remainder of the calendar offers. Today’s item is…
A kid! With things!
I’m naming him Levi Hasslefrassle.
I think his bonus accessory is a remote control. Or maybe it’s the detonator. I’m not sure.
What I do know is that Levi is a huge fan of astronauts. Just look at Levi’s shirt! He loves space-explorers!
You can imagine how exited he was to meet Arthur Tiptop! He practically cried!
Tiptop loves meeting his fans, and even let Levi try on his helmet and jetpack. And Levi let Tiptop try on his red hat!
I have a great respect for jetpack technology, and as such I know you should never, ever let a child play with one. Because this is what happens.
Levi shot off into the unknown.
Zeus and Super Snowman stopped by to see what the new Lego item is today. Tiptop stared up into the sky and said, “Um…it was this hat. Yeah. This hat is what came today. Just a hat. This calendar totally sucks, am I right?”
They were about to believe him when Mickey, who has been drinking, wandered by and said, “You guys see that bird up in the sky? That bird looks like a kid! A crying kid. Stupid birds.”
I, sadly, know what Mickey is talking about.
Day 18 Rating: 3.9 out of 5 (Points added because Levi was a nice kid.)
See you tomorrow. And if you spot a child flying by your house, get a ladder and help him. Quick!
