Lego Advent Calendar: Day 16

It snowed this weekend, so my girlfriend and I built a snowman. It has been approximately 15-20 years since I last built a snowman, but the muscle memory never forgets. Brett is an authentic snow person, with real coal eyes, mouth, and buttons. We didn’t have a carrot, because carrots are gross, so his nose is a stick. He also doesn’t have a scarf or hat, because the neighborhood kids will steal them. He doesn’t have a pipe because Brett is not a victim of peer pressure.

I sure hope Brett never, ever dies! He’ll live forever, right?

Today’s Lego item shines some light on yesterday’s mystery object, but not much light. It’s like a tiny light on your computer that you only notice when it’s dark in your room.

Today’s item is…

Tires! And another thing!

Clearly we will be constructing a car over the next few days. Or a boring Tire Store. Or a crime scene. I’m guessing these mystery items with horns/nozzles are Lego versions of race car tools. As suggested by the awesome folks on Facebook, yesterday’s green horn thing might be a pneumatic drill for taking off tires. (a.k.a. Those drills that go “Vvvvv! Vvvvv! Vvvvv!” loudly.) Or some other type of pit stop machinery.

Today’s bonus item of mystery is probably a gas pump/gas tank. Or it’s a trophy. Or it’s a robot named Sneezle.

As for the tires? They’s good. They’re round. They taste bad. All things normal tires do.

Mickey and Donald, who have been drinking, used the mystery items to have a war.

Day 16 Rating: 2.3 out of 5 (Points deducted because I’ll probably lose one of the tires by tomorrow.)

Check back later tonight. I’m writing up a fun Christmas story that will astound! I’m secretly releasing the story tonight. I like to secretly release things, just like Beyonce! Tell no one! Especially Beyonce.

Until then…
