Let’s forget yesterday happened. We can move on from the horrible item behind December 4th’s door and look towards the future.
Right now, before opening the door, today’s item has the potential to be anything. It could be a Lego trampoline. It could be a Lego duck. It could be Lego Ben Franklin. There are no limits.
Think positive and maybe today’s item will be glorious. Think positive. Think positive. Think…
IT WORKED!
Lego Baby Robot Snowman!
Holy crap!
For those joining these blogs for the first time this year, check back to 2010’s calendar, when the very first item ever given to me by a Lego calendar was Robot Snowman.
Oh, Robot Snowman. He was the first. Robot Snowman wasn’t my favorite piece that year, but you could argue that RS became the most popular supporting character. He was always doing stuff.
And now he has a child! A baby Robot Snowman! Or Snowgirl, I suppose. (Though boys can wear pink Lego pieces, if they’d like. It’s 2012; there are no more rules!)
I don’t have time to go back and read all the blogs to find out why Robot Snowman ended up with Cynthia’s hair, or why he’s holding fire. That’s just how I found him in my bucket of Lego Christmas Past.
Nintendo is happy to have a new friend, but little does she know that the number one pastime of robot snowpeople is trading hair and headgear.
Day 5 Rating: 8.8 out of 10 (Points added because it’s perfectly adorable and came with extra pieces.)
See you tomorrow!
