Yesterday I got a jetpack astronaut with magic star wands. I’d be happy if the rest of the calendar is nothing but day after day of Lego benches. Just look at that astronaut! Look at him!
He’s not as surprising as Naked Shower Santa, but I’m not expecting anything as shockingly delightful as Naked Shower Santa to ever appear in these calendars again. As such, jetpack astronaut is the current king of the 2013 calendar, with no signs of losing that title.
Let’s see what non-astronaut item today offers…
Lego Presents.
Neat.
These calendars always include some Lego presents. Like the Lego Christmas tree design, the present design never changes. But it’s hard to hate on something this Christmas-y. Plus, I’m glad both presents arrived on the same day. If the Lego Calendar Stuffers spread this out over two days, it might have turned my astronaut-smile upside down.
One present is blue and white, the other is red and green.
The blue and white one is my favorite. I don’t know why.
Donald, who has been drinking, claimed the blue and white gift for himself as he yelled, “Me! That’s for me! Suckahs!”
Then Mickey mumbled something about the government and his ex-wife and Twitter. I don’t know what he meant.
Trudy offered the red present to Super Snowman, while Mickey passed out. Astronaut Arthur Tiptop tried to revive Mickey with his magic star wands.
Day 14 Rating: 2.6 out of 5 (Points added because yesterday I got an astronaut.)
See you tomorrow!
