It’s the 13th day of the Lego Advent Calendar. And it’s Friday. Friday the 13th? In December? Uh-oh. This evil day may bring about the very worst Lego item in the entire calendar.
But fear not. For today’s item is not the worst – it is the best.
It is the very best thing I have seen all December. When I first saw it, I assumed I opened the wrong day. This isn’t a gift for the middle of the calendar. This is a gift for day #24! But I checked. I opened the correct door.
I don’t think you’re re ready to witness the glory. You may need to stretch first. I know I should have.

A JETPACK ASTRONAUT WITH STAR WANDS!
I’ll let this sink in. Do you need a drink of water?
Okay. Are you ready to proceed?
I’m naming him Commander Arthur “The Cosmic Hammer” Tiptop.
Arthur Tiptop comes with an extra gold visor. Did I mention the visor is gold? Because the visor is gold. GOLD! And I have two of them!
Arthur Tiptop has a jetpack. Duh. And three (three!) star wands!
If you melted down my dreams and poured them into plastic molds, this would be the result.
Arthur Tiptop is here to put one of the star wands on the tree. Donald, who has been drinking, said, “Wait. What?”
Mickey, who has been drinking, didn’t know how to react. He shouted, “You some sort of moon mayor? Well I didn’t vote for ya!” I don’t know what he meant.
Mickey and Donald didn’t like this new guy one bit. And Super Snowman was nervous about A.T.’s jetpack and visor outshining his own neckerchief. And he didn’t like that Tiptop could hold fire without melting. What if Trudy fell for this guy instead?
So they hatched a plan. The plan, according to Donald, was, “Let’s get him!”
Mickey ripped off Tiptop’s helmet and Donald threw a dog at him.
Tiptop, realizing he was being attacked, offered to share his helmet/jetpack with the guys. The guys then offered Tiptop a neckerchief. And friendship was born. Super Snowman quickly went to make sure Trudy still loved him.
Mickey tried on the helmet, but toppled over while saying, “Ugh…this helmet is heavy.” Donald just fell over after whimpering, “Sleep sleep.”
