Today we get…

A rock.

Eh. Whatever.

When what to my wandering eyes did appear, but a button. It has a button. I pushed the button, because I’m human and humans push buttons. Nothing happened.

Flipping the rock over, my wandering eyes noticed there’s a battery chamber. I unscrewed the mythical chamber, added an enchanted triple-A battery and then my wandering eyes saw this:

The rock glows! It’s a glowing crystal rock. It’s a clear piece that glows electric blue!

You can’t tell from these photos, but the glowing power isn’t just one constant stream of light. The light flashes and pulses, like imprisoned lightning. It’s glorious.

I thought the Bronze Ladle was great but this glowing rock is some genuine wizard work. If you time travel to cowboy times (and I’m assuming that’s possible if I figure out the right spell to cast over the crystal) cowboys would freak out over this “toy” and probably shoot you in the face for witchcraft.

Hezzy and Kayla even stopped bickering (briefly) to admire the light.

HEZZY: Wow.
KAYLA: IT’S SO PRETTY!
HEZZY: Merry Christmas, baby,
KAYLA: Merry Christmas, Hezz.
HEZZY: Why did you make out with Barry at ventriloquism camp?
KAYLA: It was a vocal exercise!!!
