Today is the shortest day of the year and also the busiest. I haven’t finished my Christmas shopping, because…well, I don’t need to explain myself to you! BACK OFF!

It may be that I’m drunk on Star Wars, but I think this year’s calendar is better than last year’s…and last year’s was pretty great.

R2-D2 w/ Antlers!

Well, that’s adorable. Though I’m not sure how RD feels about it. It’s a bit like dressing up a pet.

I like R2 because he’s kind of an asshole. He knows exactly what’s happening the entire time. He knew that Darth Vader was Luke’s father, he knew that Luke had a twin sister, he knew all about the Sith and the Jedi…and yet doesn’t tell anyone. He’s good with secrets. Or maybe he’s a bit…stupid, like a child who can’t understand what it means when parents spell out, “I need to buy p-r-e-s-e-n-t-s.”

The others were jealous of his holiday attire, so R2 offered up his extra antlers to the one character who deserved it most….

And then R2 and Gertie played reindeer games.
