It’s a good news/bad news day.

First the bad news: A villain used my credit card number and stole my identity and I spent the morning on the phone with the bank trying to figure out what happened. I’m getting a new card, but it won’t arrive for a few days. It’s not like I need to buy anything during these precious few hours before Christmas.

Good news: I still haven’t heard the Christmas Shoes song! I’m feeling good about this. Can I make it just five more days? Every day, the tension builds. Part of me wants to hear it, just to get the pain over with. I must be strong, though. I must carry on. YOU WON’T GET ME THIS YEAR, CHRISTMAS SHOES!

But the best news of the day, so far, is what lived behind door 19 of the Lego Advent Calendar.

It’s a Speeder Bike! With a Christmas present! And a pistol on the back…for some reason!

Holy…wow.

The speeder bike is perhaps my favorite of all Star Wars vehicles. (Sorry Millenium Falcon – I still love you too.) The speeder bike, best known as The Only Good Thing on the Forest Moon of Endor, is a flying motorcycle, like the kind you’d see in my mind if you tried to incept my dreams.

I don’t know why I’m explaining this. You know what the speeder bike is. You know what it can do.

This one comes with a present. Luke grabbed the present despite Principal McMurphy saying, “Slow it down, Mr. Skywalker. We’re not opening any gifts until the person who flushed socks down the teacher’s urinal steps forward!”

There was silence. Then Huck hopped on the speeder bike and screamed, “It was me!” and sped off.

Jojo whispers, “He’s so…dreamy.” Then she sighed.

Luke then whispered to no one, “I hope it’s an Xbox, or moisture, or a photo of my biological mom, or power converters, or one glove!”

Day 19 Rating: 4.5 out of 5 (Points added because I’m impressed with the creative use of tiny bricks that form the speeder bike…also the present is wonderful!)
