Lego Advent Calendar: Day 4

I was in New York today for a meeting. That’s why today’s post is late. While in New York, I walked past the Lego store in Rockefeller Center. That’s where I saw this….

While everyone else in Rockefeller Center was taking photos of the tree (which is being lit tonight), I took a picture of a bricky Santa. Sadly, he didn’t wave back.

I thought of marching into the Lego store to ask, “Where the hell is the Mrs. Claus in the Advent Calendar?” But the area was too crowded and my throat hurt and I’m shy, and hungry.

On to today’s Lego item!

It’s a Snowman…with a goddamn neckerchief!

He comes with not just one neckerchief, not just two neckerchiefs, but THREE!

Three!

This morning I had no neckerchiefs of any kind, and now I’m the proud owner of three Lego neckerchiefs!

He also came with two carrots of titanic size.

Hey Becky and Mickey, guess what! You’re getting neckerchiefs for the last day of Hanukkah!

I also noticed that neckerchiefs are just tiny capes…if you use the power of imagination (and lying).

This is no ordinary Snowman. It’s Super Snowman! If he has a cape, he can fly!

You may recall that I have two other Lego snowpeople from previous calendars.

Robot Snowman is not only my first Lego Snowman, but he was my first Lego Advent Calendar prize. As such, he is my favorite, next to Naked Shower Santa.

I forget why he wears a wig.

Baby Robot Snowgirl was the only ray of hope in last year’s otherwise dreadful calendar.

The two now have a new brother – Super Snowman.

Robot Snowman doesn’t take kindly to strangers, and was jealous of the larger carrots. His carrot nose seems puny by comparison. So he took one of the larger carrots. He can be a bully sometimes.

Day 4 Rating: 3.6 out of 5 (Points added because my neckerchief levels have increased 300%)

I have no idea what’s happening in this photo. And I don’t want to find out.
