Happy Solstice! I’m about to wrap presents, but before I do, why not disappoint myself with the Lego Friends Advent Calendar?

It doesn’t matter what I get today. Things are going to get so busy in the next 80 hours or so that I’ll barely have time to whine about Lego garbage.

We’re days away from the end of this calendar! And then we’re just 11 months away from next year’s much better Lego Advent Calendar.

It’s a Lego Fireplace!

Great. This is my third Lego Fireplace. I got one in the first Lego Calendar, and then last year’s grand finale came with another.

Now I have three.

I never even needed one.

But on the plus side, look at all these pieces! I can build stuff! FINALLY!

So what started out as a fireplace….

Has turned into a HOVER SHIP!

The Hover Ship is great. It’s hard to see from the photos but there are rocket boosters on the bottom.

Pretty amazing, right?

The Lego Friends figures can’t sit as easily as the regular Lego people because their legs are too long and there are no Lego holes on their butts. So Nintendo has to stand.

I guess it teaches us that women shouldn’t sit…or stick to things when they sit. I dunno. Whatever. We all know this line of toys is sexist garbage. But look…HOVER CAR!
