The Lego Advent Calendar: Day 7

I lost my iPod today. It’s a bright red iPod Nano, the square kind with the touch screen.

I had it with me on the bus home tonight, but now it’s gone. If you see it, give it back…and don’t judge my taste in music! The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is a hell of band and what they lack in meaningful lyrics and subtlety, they make up for with brutal Christmas soundscapes!!! Stop judging!

The point is, tonight sucks. Today’s item better be great. If it’s a new iPod, that would be super.

It’s…crap. Yep, today I lost an iPod and was given a handful of crap.

The Lego Accessories were unexpected and I’m not sure how I feel about them.

Let’s see what the Christmas Girls think…

Nintendo doesn’t care. Annie-Ann loves them. Baby Robot Snowgirl doesn’t quite understand what’s happening, but is trying desperately to fit in.

The Lego Friends people have holes in their hair that allow you to stick in the accessories. It’s cute. Girly, but cute.

So what’s do we have? There are a bunch of hair bows, a pair of sunglasses, some stars, a mirror, a brush, a blow dryer, and some other glorified flakes of plastic.

Pros:
There are many pieces.
You can pretend the blow dryer is a gun.
If I were a small girl, this would be the best day of my life.

Cons:
I don’t care about these things.
I am a man.
They are easy to lose.
They are all the same color, so prom is going to be awkward.

Don’t get me wrong; I love the idea of tiny accessories. I just wish the accessories were more…aggressive and action-packed. Though I can pretend the stars are ninja stars. Why didn’t the other calendars include such a plethora of accessories? That would have been awesome!

Nintendo stuck a mirror in her head because she’s bored.

Day 7 Rating: 5.5555 out of 10 (I’m still not sure if these are absolutely horrible, or pretty freaking adorable. What do you think?)
