The Credible Dutchman

You will need:

• 1 bottle of PA Dutch Eggnog (the boozy, premixed kind sold in jugs at the liquor store)
• 5 Hershey Kisses
• 1 free evening
• Add Iron Man 3 to taste*

Directions:

Pour the premixed, alcoholic eggnog into a glass with ice. Think about throwing a few Hershey Kisses in there to see what happens. But then just eat the Kisses instead. Watch Iron Man 3, which is 100% a Christmas movie…and probably better than you remember.

*If you’re out of Iron Man 3, substitute with Die Hard 2.

Now let’s see what today’s door has  been hiding…

A Dynamite Man! 

There is no better way to celebrate the end of this year than with a Dynamite Man. This man is the Lego embodiment of 2020.

Blow it up. Blow it all up!

Look at the smile! Nothing disconcerting about a Dynamite Man with a big ol’ grin on his face. I’ll name him Giles. He has a belt. And two faces. That seems like something a Giles would own.

I don’t think I’ve ever received a Lego belt before. And Giles came with an extra.

The typical awkward ice breaking ensued. Hair was exchanged. Pleasantries uttered. Someone mentioned how it sure is getting dark earlier these days. Bo-Bo said he’s never had almond milk. Giles said he’s doing all of his shopping online this year. Robot Snowman loudly hummed the Super Mario theme, unprompted. It was a real summit of great minds.

But these boys might be up to no good.

Day 5 Rating: 4.7 out of 5 (Come on! Dynamite Man? That’s gotta be worth a few extra points.)
