Look, today’s Lego item is the worst of the calendar, so far. I could spend many words explaining why it’s a lousy item and I could harness the powers of exclamation points to punctuate my disappointment. That’s what I would have done last year.

But this year I’m happy.

This year I’m embracing even the crappiest of Lego prizes.

Today’s item is…

A bench.

It’s a simple bench. No frills or fire. Just a bench. That’s okay. Really. It’s okay. I’m okay.

Donald and Mickey, who have been drinking, quickly took the seats for themselves while Super Snowman served dinner.

After dinner (well, during dinner actually) Mickey shouted, “Fort!” Then he and Donald placed the bench atop the table, making a rudimentary fort.

I said it looked more like a stage. This prompted Donald to start singing “Joy to the World” but with bathroom lyrics sprinkled throughout.

Then they fell.

The best news of the day is that the wine glasses and wine bottles from yesterday’s calendar can be combined to form…THE OMEGA TROPHY!

Look at it! Look at the Omega Trophy!

Mickey won the Omega Trophy…somehow. He also says it’s a “magic laser staff, like Bilbo Hobbit!” I don’t know what he meant.
