This Lego Calendar set needs some women. The town of Barbaria is nothing but dudes. Not only would it be nice to have a lovely woman help balance out the aggressive testosterone of the dudes, but the entire gene pool of the town will dry up unless Champ gets himself a date to the Barbaria Winter Ball (held on Christmas Eve). Gosh. I’m gonna need your help on this one, folks.

Looking at the picture, my first thought was that it’s a stove.

But that’s not a frying pan. It’s perhaps the best Lego accessory since Lego Fish.

It’s a magnifying glass!

And it really works, too! Kind of.

OK. So it’s not a stove and it has a magnifying glass. That leads me to believe it’s some sort of rudimentary crime lab. I’m not sure why a police officer would ever need an entire table to hold a magnifying glass, but maybe Officer Champ Gutpunch and Police Chief Pops are very lazy. (That would explain why the same criminal is on the loose every day.)

What do you think it is?

It doesn’t really matter. It came with a magnifying glass! Today’s box could have given me eight molecules of pencil shavings and half a magnifying glass and I would have been happy.

The people of Barbaria are enjoying their new toy.
