Santa Claus!

Hey buddy!

Lego didn’t do anything out of the ordinary with Santa this year. He’s Regular Santa! And being regular is okay!

The family was happy to meet the magical man and get the holiday started.

When Santa arrived, VK9000 the Christmas Song Robot just had to sing.

VK9000: This is a song called “Santa Time by the Fire” and it goes like this…

It’s Santa o’clock and the snow is falling down. VK9000: Um…I don’t know how to end the song. It’s holiday time and Santa is near, VK9000: That’s beautiful! I tried to get a picture of all the items, but it always just looks like a pile of garbage. Lego Calendar items work best when isolated so you can truly appreciate their glory.

When a new Santa arrives, it can mean only one thing. Santa Party!

Santa had to meet the other Santas for the annual Santa Forum in which the topics of discussion were: It’s a busy day.

Now it’s time to rate the items in order from worst to best.

Thanks for reading this blog for the past 24 days! This has been a fun one!

Merry Christmas and have a joyous, jetpack New Year!

Love,

I hope Christmas gets here and I don’t frown.

It’s holiday time and Santa is near….

WALTER: Let me help you friend…

And I will celebrate your love….this year.

WALTER: I know, my dear friend. I know. Now, let us go recite our new work for the world! Come…it’s time to poem!!!

7. Current Location of The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come

24. Sled — I have more Lego sleds than there are snowflakes on Hoth.

23. Helicopter with Rotor that Does Not Turn — The rotor on this otherwise acceptable helicopter does not turn.

22. Goal Posts and Ball — Go back to Europe with your sportball nonsense, Lego!

21. Presents — Meh.

20. Digging Machine — I liked the drill bit the best.

19. Toy Truck — It’s great…if you’re dumb and don’t understand that Lego items can be so much cooler!

18. Toy Car — See above. Made slightly cooler because it rolls better.

17. Toy Train — It’s kinda cool. Better than a truck and car, certainly.

16. RC Cars — I still don’t think I built this right.

15. The Drone — A neat idea, and one I forget about the very next day after opening it.

14. Santa — He’s low on the list this year because he is the same Santa from previous calendars and it would have been great if he came with new pants or antlers. Sorry, Santa. I still love you.

13. Shirley — NERD! Just kidding. She’s cool.

12. Cupcake Cart — It’s weird to have this in your living room. It’s also weird to have a house with only one wall and no ceiling.

11. Betty the Dog — She’s a loyal friend.

10. Chef Bradley Mooman — He’s one of the few Lego items that took a trip outside my house. He’s a true explorer and a gentleman.

9. Ice Cream Machine — A luxury few of us can actually afford. Perhaps one day…

8. Quincy — Cute kid. And he has two faces! And two nickels!

7. VK9000 — The Christmas Song Robot was cool, even before it started spitting out beautiful verse.

6. Timberly — She makes the top six because her blue jacket is viper!

5. Candy Cane Clock — A wonderfully weird timepiece and it’s as Christmas-y as you can get without blinking lights.

4. Walter the Poet Snowman — I just love him.

3. Lego Gnomes (on the Christmas Tree) — Usually the Christmas Tree would rate in the low teens on this list, but the inclusion of Lego Gnomes pushes this up to a calendar all-star.

2. Jetpack Spaceship — The calendar started with a bang and a whooooosh!

1. Robot — He is my life now.
