Presents!

A typical gift of the Lego Calendar, these presents arrived eleven days ahead of Christmas which leads to over a week of speculation regarding what’s inside.

A new hat? A very well-trained otter? A “hilariously” overwrapped gift card? Who knows!

The red present is clearly the star of this trio. The odd shape and aggressive angles make we me think it’s either one boot or a laser gun. And you know which way I’m leaning. Or maybe it’s Santa’s foot!

Quincy has little patience and wanted to know what was inside. Walter the Poet Snowman told him that anticipation was part of the complex emotions one associates with the holidays and this feeling should be cherished and cultivated to fully appreciate the human condition.

“Anticipation,” said Walter, “Is what separates us from animals.”

“Your shovel,” yelled Quincy, “Is what will separates the wrapping paper from this present!”

He still couldn’t open up, because it’s just plastic Lego bricks.

Day 14 Rating: 2 out of 5 (Points deducted for being boring. Points added for the red stocking present.)

See you tomorrow!

This blog is brought to you by PowerPencils.com. The last day to order magic pencils and get them by Christmas is Tuesday! Don’t blow this.
