"IMG_0273"I’m seeing The Force Awakens today. That means I will never write another blog without knowing what happens in that movie. This is it.

I hope the first word of the opening text-crawl is “Hey!” or “Lando.”

While watching the original trilogy this month, my girlfriend noticed that a lot of Star Wars characters (Jawas, mostly) sound like Minions. If a Jawa in the new movie says, “Banana!” we’re both gonna lose it.

Let’s see what’s hiding in one of the last remaining doors of this above average Lego calendar!

It’s a Probe Droid!

The Probe Droid, with a name better suited for a medical or porno droid, is important because it set into the motion the events of The Empire Strikes Back. So even if this item is a little simple and bland, you must give it some respect.

I think Lego made too many levers one year and has been trying to get rid of them every chance they get. Each advent calendar has approximately 3,903 levers. It’s not a bad thing. Levers are cool. I just wonder if there’s a lever guy at Lego HQ whose job it is to add levers into every set.

LEGO BOSS: Let’s do a set based on camping.

LEVER GUY: And we can use levers as the trees…and people…and campfire…and sky!

Gertie was curious about this new item, and sniffed it cautiously.

Day 20 Rating: 1.9 out of 5 (This might be the weakest of the bunch, so far. But they can’t all be AT-ATs.)
