""The very worst part about wrapping presents, besides the time it takes, the accidental ripping, the wrinkly folding, the misjudged size of paper and subsequent hackneyed addition of tiny bits of paper to cover the gaping holes, and your only roll of tape that always vanishes, is that it’s all for the purposes of being destroyed.

And not destroyed in a good way, like the way your mouth destroys a sandwich. The wrapping paper is destroyed and turned into garbage faster than you can say, “I kept the receipt if it doesn’t fit.”

I’m not saying we should stop wrapping presents; a wrapped present is always better than an unwrapped gift. I just want someone else to do it for me.

Anyway, today’s Lego item is a Christmas Tree. (Spoiler Alert)

""

It’s a Christmas Tree!

""

This is my third Lego Christmas Tree, and it’s as good as the others. In fact, it doesn’t deviate from the design of previous year’s trees.

Except for the star.

Look at that star!

""

It’s less a Christmas Star than a Cosmic Starfish. Which is why I’m now calling it…

Cosmic Starfish!

""

Look at that thing! It’s like candy! I’m tempted to lick it, but I know that’s exactly what the Cosmic Starfish wants. After you lick it, it infects your mind and takes control of your body. Trust me. I know how this works. Good thing the Cosmic Starfish is a good guy. He’s here to help!

""

Love it.

Day 22 Rating: 8.9 out of 10 (Points added for the Cosmic Starfish.)

Only 2 more days!

I assume the Cosmic Starfish is here to protect us. But from what, exactly? Hmm…
