A Christmas Storm Trooper w/ Santa Hat and a Mug!!!

Wow. I knew there’d be some minifigures in this calendar, but I assumed they would be the standard, non-Santa-hat-wearing variety. And then along comes this hero!

Let’s give him a Star Warsian name. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Huck Sunrunner.

I’m not sure if Huck is a good guy or a bad guy. Storm Troopers in the original movies were bad guys. Storm Troopers in the prequels were good guys…kinda…and then they were bad guys and the whole thing was a mess of “Good vs. Maybe Evil vs. Evil vs. Acting.”

WHO ARE WE ROOTING FOR IN THE PREQUELS?!

I guess were rooting for the Jedi, but the Jedi are working for the Republic which is corrupt and evil. Are the Separatists evil? Who knows. They fight the Republic (which is corrupt) but secretly work for the Republic (which is corrupt). So again, who knows. Yoda is a good guy. And so is Obi-Wan. But the Clone Troopers? Eh…I’m not sure.

I could watch the cartoons and read the books to learn more. I could also just sit here eating slivers of Advent chocolate while wishing Disney made a Cars movie about Spaceships. (I chose the latter.)

That said, Huck is a good guy. He might be an undercover Storm Trooper. What we do know is that Huck Sunrunner is PISSED!

Look at that face. He is angry at the cold world of ours. And nothing, not even a Space Cannon can cheer him up.
